I am a Charleston native who left at an early age, spending most of my life between New York City & Florence, Italy.
Cookie fanatic, recovering Virgo & shoe hoarder. Aficionado of all things design. 

 I began buying and selling antiques around the University of Michigan campus, then spent weekends taking my finds to New York City. My interest in silver led me to become a specialist in American silver across the Northeast. From there, I expanded into European furniture and owned several antique shops in New York.

Antique conservation and prop rentals for film and television took my work to New Orleans, Italy, and southern France. Along the way, I realized I wanted to create distinctive interiors, not just find and care for beautiful pieces. That idea became CRW Decor.

I’ve never had one fixed home décor style. Because I’ve always maintained multiple dwellings around the world, I’ve tended to keep my own spaces sparse and let the places I visit shape what I’m drawn to. I think about interiors in terms of mood: 

what I want a room to make someone feel. 

As I once put it,

 “I never set out to develop a design style. I simply collected places, objects and ideas until they became one.”
